Chico Mann, one of the dopest bands on the planet, is making a west coast run with the Boogaloo Assassins to celebrate the re-issue of El Alcalde Del Barrio, a deluxe 2-disc compilation, 34-track box set from the father of Latin Boogaloo, Joe Cuba, on Fania Records. Three cities, ten shows, kicking off in San Fran at Triple Crown and ending at Le Poisson Rouge in New York. If you can make it to LA, San Francisco, or NYC, definitely come check Chico out.
